Kiteretsu Streams on Discovery Plus in 6 Indian Languages via Prime Video
Discovery Plus (Prime Video) adds Kiteretsu in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam dubs.
Kiteretsu is now streaming on the Discovery Plus channel on Prime Video, bringing the classic anime to viewers in six Indian languages.
The first 12 episodes are currently available to stream with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Indian English dubs. The streaming release features the same dubbed version that aired previously on Cartoon Network India.

Cartoon Network Dub Arrives on Streaming
The Discovery Plus release marks the first streaming availability of the Cartoon Network India dub, which was previously available only via television broadcasts.
Kiteretsu first premiered in India on Hungama TV in 2007. The series later aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD, using the original Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dub produced during its Disney-era broadcasts.
In late 2014, the broadcast rights moved to POGO, where the anime received new Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs with a different voice cast. The same dubs were later carried over when the series moved to Cartoon Network India.
Expanded to Six Indian Languages
During its run on Cartoon Network India, the anime’s regional language lineup was expanded beyond Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Additional Kannada, Malayalam, and Indian English dubs were introduced, all of which are now available for streaming with the Discovery Plus release.
Available Only Through Prime Video
Although the anime is available via Discovery Plus, it is currently streaming only through the Discovery Plus add-on channel on Prime Video. The series is not available on the standalone Discovery Plus India native platform.
More Classic Anime on Streaming
The arrival of Kiteretsu adds another classic anime title to India’s growing streaming catalog. Previously, Discovery Plus also added Dragon Ball Z Kai in five Indian languages in 2025, marking the platform’s first anime addition in India.
