Digimon Adventure (2020) is a reboot of the original Digimon Adventure anime, produced by Toei Animation. First released in Japan in 2020, the series reimagines the story in a modern setting with updated animation and narrative structure.
Directed by Masato Mitsuka and written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, with music composed by Toshihiko Sahashi, the series aired for 67 episodes on Fuji TV from April 5, 2020 to September 26, 2021.
Set in 2020 Tokyo, the story begins when a massive cyberattack disrupts the city’s digital infrastructure. Taichi “Tai” Kamiya and his partner Agumon are drawn into the Digital World alongside the other DigiDestined, each paired with their own Digimon companion.
