Cyborg 009 Hindi Dub Marks First Official Streaming Release in India

The classic anime Cyborg 009 (1979) Hindi dub is now officially streaming on YouTube, marking the first time the series has been made accessible in Hindi for streaming audiences in India.

The first episode premiered on March 25, 2026, on the Sugoi Jalwa YouTube channel, with more episodes expected to follow.

First Cyborg 009 Hindi Dub Series on Streaming

While Cyborg 009 has had multiple anime adaptations over the decades, its Hindi versions were never widely released for streaming. This makes the current release the first official availability of the franchise in Hindi on a free streaming platform.

The version being streamed is the 1979 color adaptation, which originally aired in Japan between 1979 and 1980 and consists of 50 episodes.

About the Series

Cyborg 009 is a long-running sci-fi anime franchise that has received multiple adaptations:

• Cyborg 009 (1968) – Black-and-white TV series (26 episodes)
• Cyborg 009 (1979–1980) – Color TV series (50 episodes)
• Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier (2001–2002) – Modern adaptation

The 2001 series had previously aired in India on Animax in the mid-2000s, and later in Hindi dub on the Animax Kool Kidz (block) in 2005 on Sony Entertainment Television.

Sugoi Jalwa Expands Beyond Tokusatsu

The release also marks a shift for Sugoi Jalwa, a YouTube channel primarily known for streaming Kamen Rider tokusatsu series in Hindi.

The channel launched on September 10, 2025, and began with Kamen Rider Gavv, which streamed all 50 episodes in Hindi between October 2025 and January 2026. This was followed by Kamen Rider Zero-One, which started streaming in January 2026 and is currently ongoing.

With Cyborg 009, the channel introduces its first anime title, expanding beyond tokusatsu content into anime distribution.
