About One-Punch Man
One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero action-comedy anime based on the manga created by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The story follows Saitama, a hero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch, leading him to struggle with the boredom of being too powerful.

One Punch Man on Sony YAY!
One Punch Man premiered on Sony YAY! on November 22, 2025, marking its first-ever television broadcast in India. The series was officially announced by the channel on November 6, 2025, through a promotional trailer shared on its social media handles.
The release date was first revealed during the Indian TV premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 on November 5, 2025, which aired on the same channel. Sony YAY! added another trailer on 21st November, confirming the show’s broadcast a day before its premiere.
The show aired daily at 10:00 PM on Sony YAY! in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dub. This marked the first time One Punch Man was released in Tamil and Telugu, as the earlier MX Player version only featured the Hindi dub.
All three dubs were licensed from Muse Communications (Muse India), which also distributed the Hindi-dubbed version for streaming on MX Player in May 2025.
Sony YAY! concluded the broadcast on 3rd December 2025 with the final episode of Season 2, and Season 3 is yet to air on the channel.
