While the original series’ run on Sony YAY! has been placed on hold, a brand-new sequel, ‘Obocchama Kun (Indian TV 2025),’ has been announced for Spring 2025. This sequel is a collaboration between TV Asahi and Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), bringing together the creative strengths of Japan and India to revive this beloved series for a new generation.
According to an official announcement, the sequel will feature 26 brand new episodes, continuing the adventures of Chama, the ‘crazy rich’ boy.
