Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG is Now Streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs on Anime Times (Amazon Prime Video India)
Anime Times, the dedicated anime channel available on Amazon Prime Video India, has expanded its regional language lineup for the Ghost in the Shell franchise.
After adding Stand Alone Complex: 1st GIG with Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs on May 24, 2025, Anime Times now streams Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd GIG in the same languages. As of June 5, 2025, all episodes are officially available to watch. With both seasons now streaming, the entire Stand Alone Complex saga is now accessible to Indian viewers in regional languages.

Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd GIG is the acclaimed sequel to Stand Alone Complex, continuing the cyber-crime investigations of Major Motoko Kusanagi and Section 9 in a futuristic Japan. With deep themes around identity, surveillance, and refugee crises, it remains one of anime’s most sophisticated narratives.
The series originally aired from January 2004 to January 2005 in Japan, animated by Production I.G. and directed by Kenji Kamiyama. A sequel film, Solid State Society, was also released later in 2006.
