The film was originally released in Japanese cinemas on November 8, 2024, serving as the theatrical conclusion to the Attack on Titan anime adaptation. It also features a new post-credits scene based on the final chapter of Attack on School Castes, Hajime Isayama’s alternate-universe short manga. With a runtime of 144 minutes, the film presents the complete finale in a continuous cinematic format.
Indian Theatrical Release
Attack on Titan: The Last Attack released in Indian cinemas on July 26, 2026, by Medialink in association with PVR INOX Pictures. The film released in Japanese with English subtitles across India, bringing the theatrical version of the Attack on Titan finale to Indian audiences.
The film was first announced for an Indian theatrical release during Anime India 2025 in Mumbai, where Medialink teased both Attack on Titan: The Last Attack and Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death with “In Cinemas Soon” posters. While the Jujutsu Kaisen film was released in India on January 1, 2026, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack remained delayed for several months.

The Indian release date was officially announced on June 20, 2026, during C.O.R.E. 2026 (Culture of Real Experiences) at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre by Medialink and Ani-One India, confirming a theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
However, on June 23, 2026, Ani-One India announced that the film had been postponed and rescheduled for July 24, 2026. On the same day, PVR INOX Pictures unveiled the official Indian trailer and theatrical poster, confirming the revised nationwide release date.
