Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie is a compilation film based on Gege Akutami’s manga Jujutsu Kaisen. The movie adapts the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc, which depicts the past of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto and forms the narrative foundation for Season 2 of the television anime.
The film compiles the first five episodes of Season 2, presenting the arc as a single continuous theatrical feature rather than an episodic format.
Produced by MAPPA in association with the Jujutsu Kaisen Project and distributed by TOHO, it was released theatrically in Japan on May 30, 2025. In North America, the theatrical release took place on March 18, 2025, distributed by Crunchyroll in association with Funimation.
Indian Theatrical Release
During the Anime India 2025 convention held in Mumbai from August 22–24, 2025, Medialink hinted at a theatrical release of Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie, along with Attack on Titan: The Last Attack. “Coming Soon” standee posters for both films were displayed at the venue.

On December 26, 2025, PVR Inox Pictures officially announced the India release date, confirming a theatrical opening on January 1, 2026. The film is being released in Japanese with English subtitles, with distribution handled by Medialink and PVR Inox Pictures.
